Dena Narbaitz, Esq., SPHR Joins the Tribu Team

Tribu Partners LLC is excited to welcome @Dena Narbaitz to our team of independent workplace investigators. Dena brings more than 25 years of experience in employment law and workplace investigations to her work at Tribu Partners LLC. She has conducted countless internal investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, theft, and other forms of employee misconduct for businesses of all sizes across the public and private sectors.

Drawing on her combined experience as a litigator and human resources professional, Dena approaches each matter with discretion, integrity, and a deep understanding of organizational dynamics. She provides clear, impartial findings that help employers move forward with confidence. Dena also advises clients on disability accommodations and internal compliance issues. She conducts management training programs on a wide range of employment topics and trains internal investigative teams and HR professionals on best practices for conducting fair and effective investigations.

Dena is a former shareholder at Steefel, Levitt & Weiss and held various management positions within the firm, including Co-Chair of the Litigation Group and Chair of the Hiring Committee. Formerly a partner at Curiale Hirschfeld Kraemer and Epstein Becker & Green, Dena also served as Regional Director of Human Resources for ABM Onsite Services – West, Inc., and as Vice President of Human Resources for the San Francisco Zoological Society. In addition, she was an EEO Programs Senior Specialist for the City and County of San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. In that role, she conducted investigations into discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and addressed employee requests for reasonable accommodations.
